5D 4N

after a loooong wait at the airport...
getting re-orientated to grandparents & aunt from webcam to reality. =) the boys were a little shy at first but warmed up enough by the end of the day to monkey around.

Jr already had rehearsed what he wanted to do with them - his new house, zoo, strawberry farm, playground, toy store, wading pool, lake, beach, picnic, *food* parties

the best berries hide under the leaves
it's been a wk since they left but the boys still chant...
i love mai mai *my sis*, i love aunt lili *sis's friend*, i love por por *grandma*, i love gong gong *grandpa*,
where did they go? they ran away. they flew away in an airplane.
how many of them went home?
why did they go home?
i don't want wednesday. *boo hoo*
i like mai mai's birthday cake. it's yummy.
it's funny how people fall into a routine.
it was hard in USA without family at first. like our friend, L said then, we were lucky. we were busy with settling down while our family did not. after a while it was norm chatting on webcam or msn & skype.
after spending 5 days together, it was suddenly our turn to feel alone.
Jr cried when we sent them off at the airport & they went through the boarding gates.
then again when we reached the rented van. "who's going to sit behind me?" my mum, sis & her friend had sat there.
yet again when we returned home. "who's going to sleep in my room? who's going to sleep in my playroom?" =(
J & i... better to have them for a few days than not at all. at least there was something to look forward to our "1 yr in USA" =)
